This year the kid and i drove out in the Willys. the weather was perfect not too cold like a few years back. We got in to camp Thursday night with just enough time to play around on the famous Potato Salad Hill. that was quite a spectacle. We had made a few tries before breaking the rear drive line and rolling back down to watch as the crew from the show #DieselBrothers showed up and made a great show for everyone watching. The #BroDozer killed it with easy up the hill in short order. I don't have video of it as I was streaming it live on my facebook page.
The next morning we woke up early to meet up for the Friday Flat Fender Fun Run. Some say it's in its' 3rd year as in the current JP magazine that out as of 10/11/17 but I know of it happening 5 times. It's never really been promoted. It's something that has been spoke of in the online forums and facebook groups. People come from all over the states to make it. This year we had around 30 rigs of all shapes and sizes. Travis and Crystal drove their 46 Willys from Missouri to Utah with and open top. Then gave it hell up Easter Egg Hill with the front tire going airborne. You can see it in the video below that we put together of the day. The big hits where the bone stockers making the climb up #EasterEggHill on the #flatiron trail that we ran backwards.
